The Wilmington RV park may be found near Wilmington, Ohio, midway between Cincinnati and Dayton. Around 170 acres in size, this location boasts a picturesque lake and other convenient features. Alton RV Park is among the most accessible parks in Columbus for RV tourists. Campers have easy access to everything Columbus has to offer, as the campground is located just nine miles west of the city center and 11mi from The Ohio State University.

The Kings Island Amusement Site, Coney Island Waterpark and the Cincinnati Zoo are just a short drive from Olive Branch Campground, a family-owned park situated just 30mi northeast of Cincinnati. In addition to the regular schedule of events, they also host a number of fun-filled, themed weekends each year, such as  a chili cook-off and a pirate festival.

There are both back-in and pull-through options, as well as complete hookups and a dump station. Sewer and electricity are available at the campground all year, as is the ability to cook over an open fire, but the water is turned off between November to March, and the campground’s showers and restrooms are closed at the same time.

Alum Creek State Park has some of the best fall foliage in the state and is a wonderful place to visit overall. This campground is open year-round and is situated in a wooded region rich with old trees that bloom with rich hues in the fall.

Salt Fork State Park is Ohio’s biggest State Park with 17,229 acres. It’s a great spot for RV camping, and it’s also a lovely site to go hiking and exploring the outdoors. All levels of hikers can enjoy the area’s many recreational opportunities, which include easy and advanced trails, a beach, an 18-hole golf course, and even a mini golf course.

Hocking Hills State Park

The Old Man’s Cave is a prominent attraction in Hocking Hills. Starting from Old Man’s Cave, the trail travels a total of six miles to reach Cedar Falls and Ash Cave within the park. North Country Scenic Trail, Ohio’s Buckeye Trail, and America’s Discovery Trail all include this path. In this park, guests can go river swimming and tubing.
