The amazing pool house at Evergreen Park features an indoor pool, hot tub, a workout area, a snack bar, and an arcade, making it the park’s biggest feature. Pools often have their roofs opened on sunny, breezy days.

Wilmington RV Resort

The Wilmington RV park may be found near Wilmington, Ohio, midway between Cincinnati and Dayton. Around 170 acres in size, this location boasts a picturesque lake and other convenient features. There are cottages, tent sites, and RV hookups available. There is a maximum of 50 amp hookups available, and WiFi is available as well.

Olive Branch Campground

The Kings Island Amusement Site, Coney Island Waterpark and the Cincinnati Zoo are just a short drive from Olive Branch Campground, a family-owned park situated just 30mi northeast of Cincinnati. In addition to the regular schedule of events, they also host a number of fun-filled, themed weekends each year, such as  a chili cook-off and a pirate festival.

There are both back-in and pull-through options, as well as complete hookups and a dump station. Sewer and electricity are available at the campground all year, as is the ability to cook over an open fire, but the water is turned off between November to March, and the campground’s showers and restrooms are closed at the same time.

The Resort at Erie Landing

The Mohican and Loudonville region is commonly referred to as the “Canoe Capital of Ohio,” and for good cause. The Clear Fork River in Mohican State Park is a fantastic place to go canoeing, kayaking, or any other type of paddle sport. The 27-mile river is great for brown trout fishing, and breathtaking scenery for everyone.

The park’s 1,110 acres have 100 electric sites, 51 full hookup sites, and 35 non-electric campsites. Campers can use the pool, splash pad, playground, volleyball court, and basketball court. Gem mining is an optional extra for those who want to maximize their entertainment value. There are also sports goods and board games available for checkout from the camp store.

Both the President’s Award and the Founder’s Award have been presented to this KOA. Campground features include a pool containing inflatables and slides, fishing, a swimming lake, sports and leisure grounds, a jumping pillow, a gazebo, firewood and propane for sale, a snack bar, and organized events and theme weekends.

They have sites with complete connections, sites with water and electric hookups, sites with 20/30/50 amp service, and sites with furnished concrete patios. Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, and a bathhouse with hot showers are all available at this campground. The gravel pads, fire rings and picnic tables, and can accommodate RVs up to 125ft long.

The PORT Campground and Docks in Athens County on the Hocking River are not to be missed by seasonal campers or boat owners. When you rent a dock for the entire season, you get exclusive use of it and access to the boat ramps for no additional cost. Family and pet-friendly camping is available at this campsite. Both the pool and the splash pad are enormous. There are also full utility hookups, including water and electricity.

Camping at the Canton/East Sparta KOA is a great way for families to have a fantastic holiday, whether you’re wanting to relax in the great outdoors or experience some excitement. Alum Creek State Park has some of the best fall foliage in the state and is a wonderful place to visit overall. This campground is open year-round and is situated in a wooded region rich with old trees that bloom with rich hues in the fall.

Campers and RVers are impressed by the big sites and secluded, tree-lined locations. There are a total of 308 campsites available, 24 of which have full water, power, and sewer hookups. Additionally, there are 231 standard electric campsites and 31 deluxe electric campsites. In addition to the readily available restrooms, there is also a trash station and a place to fill up on clean water.

Tappan Lake Park Campground

Campsites at Tappan Lake Park are located across from the stunning 2,350-acre Tappan Lake, making it ideal for families who enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, water skiing, tubing, and wakeboarding.

This is a sizable campground, with space for more than 500 campers. All of the RV sites provide full hookups. Campers appreciate the spotless facilities and the ease with which they can back into their sites. In addition, most places will accept pets. There are limited seasonal camping permits available from April to October if you’re interested in staying longer.

Winton Woods Campground

Winton Woods is a stunning natural area that spans over 2,555 acres and your family will enjoy a wide variety of outdoor pursuits, from hiking and equestrian paths to golf and camping sites and a plethora of playgrounds.

What’s more, if you get tired of being outdoors for a while, you can always drive to Kings Island amusement park and ride some roller coasters. It provides 123 separate campsites, each with their own bathroom facilities and access to free Wi-Fi. In addition, there are eight spacious camping cottages at this outdoor retreat, each of which can accommodate six people.

Great Seal State Park

There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activity at Great Seal State Park, which spans 1,862 acres and includes a campground, a hunting area, and trails suitable for bicycling, hiking, and even horseback riding. Restrooms, picnic areas, a restroom, drinkable water, bike and equestrian routes, and a disk golf course are all available.

The park is located in the rugged hills that used to be home to the Shawnee people and is dedicated to preserving the untamed wilderness of Ohio, the park features primitive tent and equestrian camping, and a network of hiking trails through the area.

Kelleys Island State Park

The maximum length for vehicles staying at this campground is 26 feet. Tent camping on a lake island is like a small piece of heaven. Fishing, kayaking, hiking, and a shallow beach are all possible during the day. 

Enjoy a night out at the island’s winery or brewery, then relax by the campfire and drift off to sleep to the sound of the waves lapping against the shore. Large picnic tables and fire pits are provided at each of the sites suitable for RVs and tents. Located in Muskingum County, not far from Zanesville, Dillon State Park is a wonderful place to spend time in nature, with its beautiful hiking and biking paths, as well as its boating, picnicking, fishing, and camping areas.

Dillon State Park is located on 2,285 acres and features rental cabins, campsite with water and electrical hookups, laundry facilities, modern restrooms and a dump station. Sports such as archery, canoeing, fishing, swimming, tennis, volleyball, and even stargazing can be enjoyed at the park.

Salt Fork State Park

Salt Fork State Park is Ohio’s biggest State Park with 17,229 acres. It’s a great spot for RV camping, and it’s also a lovely site to go hiking and exploring the outdoors. All levels of hikers can enjoy the area’s many recreational opportunities, which include easy and advanced trails, a beach, an 18-hole golf course, and even a mini golf course.

Here you may find information on everything that is available to do. There are full hookup, 50amp, and non-electric sites, and they can accommodate RVs of varying sizes. The park also features restrooms with running water and flush toilets as well as a dumping station. 

Hocking Hills State Park

The Old Man’s Cave is a prominent attraction in Hocking Hills. Starting from Old Man’s Cave, the trail travels a total of six miles to reach Cedar Falls and Ash Cave within the park. North Country Scenic Trail, Ohio’s Buckeye Trail, and America’s Discovery Trail all include this path. In this park, guests can go river swimming and tubing.

You can get away from it all and spend quality time with your loved ones without worrying about anything. Located in the middle of the Hocking Hills, the 60-acre Top O’ the Caves resort features both rustic camping and RV spots with full hookups, as well as luxury log cabins. Each RV site at Hocking River RV Park comes with a river view and access to electricity.

Maumee Bay State Park

Cuyahoga Valley National Park
