Interstate is one of the nicest and oldest state parks in Wisconsin. Interstate, Minnesota, was founded in the year 1900, and it is situated on the beautiful St. Croix National Scenic Riverway. The spectacular scenery along the river and in the steep-sided gorge called Dalles of the St. Croix more than justify the effort.

A film, images, murals, and information about Wisconsin’s glacial history can be found at Ice Age Interpretive Center, which is located nearby. There are 82 electric-only campsites at Interstate.
