One of the most popular campgrounds in White Mountains, and one of the few campgrounds in the area that provides access to a swimming beach of the lake. This lake was formed during the ice period, but it is now a great location for swimming and camping.

This state park has 203 campsites that are located all around the lake. You may swim, fish, and even rent boats at this campground, not to mention take a stroll through the area to look for beaver lodges. The lake and picnic spots are available to the public but there is a limit on the number of people allowed in each area to prevent overcrowding.

Israel River Campground is a top choice among campers because of its convenient location in the center of the White Mountains as well as its breathtaking views of the Mount Washington and Presidential Mountain Range.

Because it is spread out over 24 acres of pristine riverfront land, it is a fantastic location for fishing, swimming, and going out on the water in a boat. At the Pemi River Campground, campers have access to a variety of wooded RV sites, each of which is equipped with full hookups, including water and 20-amp electrical connections. 

There are contemporary restrooms with hot showers, in addition to a fully-stocked camp store. This campsite features a children’s playground and horseshoe pits. In addition, the campground offers canoeing, kayaking, and tubing trips on the Pemigewasset River.

The area that is now known as Bear Brook State Park in New Hampshire is the state’s most extensively built state park. In the trees all around Beaver Pond, where it is located, there are 101 camping spots available. Campers have the opportunity to hire canoes, boats, and paddleboards at Beaver Pond. There are forty miles of hiking paths that will lead you through the woods, around the pond, and up to the peaks.

Mountain biking, hiking, and horseback riding are just a few of the activities that may be done on the trails that are available. Features not one but two archery ranges that visitors can use—provided that they bring their own equipment. A number of conveniences, such as hot showers, dumping stations, laundry facilities, a camp store, firewood, and ice, are offered to campers.

If you opt to camp at one of the several riverfront locations close to Baker River, you can let the sound of the water rock you to sleep at night. If you choose a location that is a bit further from the river, you will be able to take advantage of larger sites that are suitable for large RVs and many of them include pull-through access. Every site in the campground is furnished with a fire ring and picnic table.

Near Connecticut Lakes State Forest in Pittsburgh is where you’ll find the family-friendly Deer Mountain Campground. This campground is an ideal base for exploring the forest and recreational area that surrounds the forest. This is a basic campground that is located between Second and Third Connecticut Lakes in Connecticut.

It is adjacent to the Connecticut River and includes 25 tent sites that are equipped with picnic tables, fireplaces, parking spots, and access to drinking water and vault toilets. The campground is located in a region that is famous for its fantastic opportunities to watch moose, in addition to providing opportunities for other activities such as swimming, hiking and fishing in the river.

The majority of campers visit this campground because of its convenient location, but that is not the only perk it has to offer. There are 192 campsites, all of which provide guests with a pleasant view of the bathing beach and access to facilities where they can rent boats and kayaks. When you stay here, you have access to a number of convenient amenities, such as hot showers and a camp store. 

In addition to tent sites, there are also cottages available for guests to stay in. There are five different cabins available, and each one has space for up to six individuals to sleep. For anyone who despises the lack of electricity that comes with traditional camping, these cottages are the perfect solution. In addition to that, they come with campfire rings and picnic tables.

Coleman State Park is near Stewartstown that is located on Little Diamond Pond and provides a variety of opportunities for recreation, including camping, picnicking, hiking, fishing, and riding all-terrain vehicles. 

The park has a campground with 25 sites, including ATV camping sites with direct trail access, water and electric hookups and restrooms with vault toilets and hot showers. The campground is located in the northwestern part of the park.
